Who Supports SOPA? A Handy List

For those of you keeping up on the SOPA mess (which should be all of you), here's s list of companies supporting SOPA and their contact information.

Some of these are not surprisng.  Some I've never heard of – but there's a few I didn't expect.  GoDaddy was especially shocking, but so is Marvel Entertainment (who I normally figured didn't get into this).

    Marvel being on there is not surprising for two reasons:
    1. Any cursory look at a torrent aggregator will show comics on there, and almost always you’ll see Marvel titles there.
    2. Marvel’s a Disney subsidiary now, and you’ll not the presence of Disney and several other of its subsidiaries on the list (the first one is ABC.)

    @Rob – Total brainfart on my part, at times I keep forgetting where they are now.
    @Serdar – I’m glad they’re our new host ;)

    Took a quick look to see if I could see other companies that belong under a larger umbrella (like, say Paramount, part of CBS) and saw some odd names on there. Revlon? L’Oreal? Concerned Women for America (CWA)? Pharma companies and organizations?

    Revlon – owned by MacAndrews and Forbes, which also owns gaming and publishing companies.
    CWA – a conservative Christian group who have a long history of speaking out against obscenity and porn; I’m betting the backing of the bill is a massive overreach without knowing the consequences.
    L’Oreal, I’ll have to admit, is the odd man (woman?) out. Probably need to do some deep INTEL on this one.
