We’re approaching the fourth anniversary of Fan To Pro. Sounds odd to say, really – four years? I’ve seen many blogs wither and die and we’re still going. Heck we have a new redesign (which I’m already thinking of changing), more people, and more everything. Considering our staff is also insanely busy, I’m pretty happy.
But as I look back on one thing, there’s something I wish I’d done different.
I wish I’d thought of this earlier before the economy went into the toilet.
Really, as much as I continue to believe in the value of the fan-to-pro life, I wish I’d promoted it more earlier. I wish I’d thought of this a decade or so ago.
See, now, you’re not just facing your ideal job quest, your calling, you’re also facing a melted down economy screwed up by morons. I’d have liked to be there earlier for you.
But we can also be there to help you navigate the crazy economy and seek a better future. We can do our part to help you understand this, survive this, and perhaps make a better future.
Life goes on, as does Fan To Pro. We’re working to add more to it – and in fact we may want to add you, so let us know!
What should you get out of this? How about stop waiting and go do what’s worth doing? If you think you waited too long to do what’s important don’t stop, just modify your plans to move with the time.
There’s no reason to wait. Go for it.
